Alert Details

Per this recent Mimecast announcement:

“All versions of Mimecast for Outlook prior to v7.10 will be retired on February 28, 2022. After this date, older versions of Mimecast for Outlook will no longer be operable or able to communicate with Mimecast.

“The latest version of Mimecast for Outlook contains important security enhancements and new features. For your users to continue using MFO, all instances will need to be updated to v7.10 by February 28, 2022. We recommend updating to the latest version of Mimecast for Outlook as soon as possible.”

The creation, delivery, and testing of an updated Mimecast for Outlook client installation package is included with your HeliX Subscription. However, please note that there are critical authentication prerequisites which must be met prior to rolling out this client upgrade. If you need assistance deploying the updated package or configuring your Mimecast or Windows environment to support this release, please submit a service request to service@helient.com and we will assign an engineer to assist.
